Prescribing Controlled Psychostimulants for Stimulant Use Disorder

Following an increase of overdose deaths involving stimulants, SA国际传媒and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) jointly released The Clinical Practice Guideline on the Management of Stimulant Use Disorder (StUD) (Guideline), which recommends that trained physicians consider prescribing certain psychostimulants for the treatment of cocaine use disorder and amphetamine-type stimulant use disorder.
