ASAM 4th Edition Development

The Fourth Edition of The SA国际传媒Criteria will be released in four volumes. Subsequent volumes will focus on adolescents and transition-age youth, justice-involved patients, and treatment of behavioral addictions (i.e., gambling, internet, and gaming addiction). The 4th Edition uses a for evidence review and formal consensus development under the guidance of a new editorial subcommittee.

SA国际传媒is seeking input from diverse stakeholders on the standards for the Adolescent and Transition Age Youth Volume of the Fourth Edition of The SA国际传媒Criteria®. Feedback received during the public comment period will be instrumental in refining the standards and decision rules of the Adolescent and Transition Age Youth Volume. Feedback must be submitted through the in order to be considered. Please note that your comments may be made public. We would appreciate it if you could distribute this request for comments widely to help us get broad feedback.

This document outlines the draft standards for the Adolescent and Transition Aged Youth Volume, including the following:

  • Assessment and Treatment Planning Standards
  • The Adolescent Continuum of Care
  • Adolescent Level of Care Standards
